Filter Systems
KMA ULTRAVENT is a Filter System for the cleaning of waste air (fume, oil mist, aerosols,
dust, steam). The exhaust capacity ranges from 5.000 m³/h (type UV5000) to 30.000 m³/h
(type UV30000). The Filter Systems can be applied as Single Place Filter for high polluted
production plants or as Central Filter for the extraction of several workplaces.
Due to the high waste separation ability of the ULTRAVENT Filters the cleaned air can be
recirculated back into the factory. Advantage: Exhaust air duct work is not required.
Additionally the recirculation of the clean air saves an impressive amount of energy costs in
winter as no make-up air is required.
KMA ULTRAVENT Filters have two main separation phases, which are equipped either with
a demister followed by an electrofilter (esp) or – for heavy-duty applications – with 2 levels
of electrostatic filter cells.
The filter cells are made in a robust industrial design and have a long durability! Due to the
optional filter washing device (cip), filter cleaning is easy. The filter elements do not need
exchange or replacement. The rigid collector is very absorbent and protected, being built in
a stainless steel housing. Due to the special filter design ULTRAVENT filters are immune to
oil, grease or water deposits.
Clean air can be returned to the factory or expelled outdoors.

Extraction Hoods
Two-part extraction hood - for use at die casting machines.
Dimension and extraction capacity are adapted to the requirements of die casting machines ranging from<100 up to 4000 tons closing force. (Please indicate type and manufacturer)
The two-part movable hood on rails covers the die area of the die casting machine. Metal contour elements inside
the hood ensure that the suction strength of the system is concentrated on the critical emission areas.
If the sprayer is mounted on the fixed plate it is covered completely by the extraction hood. In order to ensure free
access for the crane when changing the die, the hood section above the die area can be retracted by hand or by
motor (motor retraction optional)
If required, the hood section above the injection part of the DCM can be moveable on rails as well
(option, manual or by motor)
All extraction hoods are prepared for linking with a KMA filter system type ULTRAVENT-II or with tubes.
