Conventional methacrylate sealants emulsify when in contact with water, thereby rendering them unsuitable for recycling from the cold wash. Ultraseal Rexeal 100 sealant, although still methacrylate based, is hydrophobic in nature, enabling it to be recovered from the cold wash for re-use in the autoclave.
Benefits of Ultraseal Rexeal 100
Outstanding sealant performance with excellent chemical / temperature resistant properties.
Continuous recovery of sealant from the cold wash.
Considerable reduction in volume of water consumed in cold wash with corresponding reduction in waste water effluent.
Environmentally friendly.
Sealant consumption reduced by up to 90%.
Avoids the risk of blocked drains.
Manufactured to ISO9001: 2000 Ultraseal procedures.
Developed from Ultraseal's globally approved high performance Ultraseal MX2 sealant.
Ultraseal Rexeal 100 gives major savings in :
Sealant Inventory
Sealant stocks reduced with recycling rates as high as 90%
Shipping
High recycling rates reduce consumption
of Ultraseal Rexeal 100, thereby reducing associated transport costs.
Water Consumption
Conversion to Ultraseal Rexeal 100 eliminates weiring or discharge from the
cold wash, dramatically reducing water consumption.
Effluent
Conventional non-recycling sealants
emulsify when in contact with water. The resultant cold wash solution is continually weired to drain and requires expensive treatment to make it environmentally acceptable. The use of Ultraseal Rexeal 100 eliminates cold wash effluent and it's associated treatment costs.
